The fairytale of Ihrbub and his Epapsam

I wish to tell you a fairytale.
There was once a man called Ihrbub.
Ihrbub lived in a dark, dark environment. Everywhere around him there was light. But where Ihrbub came it always became dark and heavy.
Ihrbub could not help it. He was born that way. It was just a matter of fact and a fact of life for Ihrbub that where he came, there it was dark.
How would you feel to be in dark places always? Would you not feel terrible?
Ihrbub felt like you would have felt. He felt miserable all the time. The world where he came was dark and he always felt bad.
When Ihrbub looked out from his window, he saw other houses where it was light. Because Ihrbub desired so much for the light, he went to those houses. But always when he went into such a house, it became very quickly dark there. Then Ihrbub went back home, disappointed. He sat himself in his lazy chair and he took it easy for himself, and then he was thinking and thinking. How could it be that in the house it was dark? When Ihrbub had looked at it, the house was still glowing.
Ihrbub sat in his lazy chair. He had bought a special comfortable chair for himself. When he sat himself down in that chair, he could easily forget about the difficult demands of life. In his lazy chair, Ihrbub could sit and sit and be lazy, just as he liked it.
After he had sat in the lazy chair for long time, and his bottom began to really ache, Ihrbub looked out from the window again. There was the house that he had visited one day ago. Yes, Ihrbub could easily sit in his lazy chair for one day before he would stand up. And if his buttocks had not hurt him so much from sitting all the time, Ihrbub would not at all yet have stood up.
The house that he had visited was really dark now. So Ihrbub decided to visit another house. There it was still nice. And what was more important even: In that house he had seen a beautiful woman.
There was nothing so splendid as to meet a beautiful woman. A woman is soft. A woman is sexy. A woman likes Ihrbub’s friendly smiles. You must know that this was a special talent of Ihrbub. He could smile better than anybody else. He had practiced smiling in his lazy chair. Smiling did not take as much energy as working or walking.
Ihrbub decided to visit the light house with the beautiful woman. Ihrbub went into the house. How could it be? As soon as Ihrbub entered the house, the light had gone. It had become a dark house as soon as Ihrbub entered the house.
Even the woman felt rather dark when she saw Ihrbub. She did not really want to meet him and closed the door for him.
Ihrbub put himself in his lazy chair again. For a few years he was sitting there, until his bottom was again rather painful and even Ihrbub had gotten enough of sitting lazily.
He had thought out something great. He knew that wherever he came, everything turned dark. Because of that darkness the people could not see anymore how great Ihrbub really was. Therefore, Ihrbub had to make clear to the people how magnificent he was.
Ihrbub had invented something for this. He had invented a machine. It was an “Empty-Promises-And Pledges-Selling-Always-Machine.” In this story, the Empty-Promises-And-Pledges-Selling-Always-Machine will further be called EPAPSAM.
The EPAPSAM was really a great invention. Ihrbub always carried his EPAPSAM with him. And when he entered the houses full of light, or he met people from whom he wanted money, or when he met with beautiful women, he just let his EPAPSAM work and then Ihrbub got everything that he wanted.
Now there is no fairytale without a good ending. Do you think the ending was that Ihrbub managed to get a lot of money, all the sexy women he wanted, and also position and glory, and a light and heavenly atmosphere around him?
Do you think this is the happy ending of this story?
Then i must disappoint you. This history ended in a completely different way.
For many years, Ihrbub went around with his EPAPSAM. And everywhere he went, it became dark, but the people did not realize it because the EPAPSAM made their minds confused. They let Ihrbub in their houses and there he sold his empty promises. When the house had become very dark, the people did not realize who had made darkness to them. It had become too dark for them to see and realize anything.
If not something very special had happened; Ihrbub could have gone on for the rest of his existence. The EPAPSAM was really an awesome invention.
But Ihrbub had forgotten one thing. He needed an energy source for his EPAPSAM. For this he had chosen the energy source that provided also energy for the light in the beautiful houses around him.
On one day, the person responsible for giving out this energy, his name is Giving-Out-Diamonds, he realized that a lot of energy was wasted somewhere. Giving-Out-Diamonds investigated all his customers. Yes, there was one customer who used extraordinary much energy. That was Ihrbub with his EPAPSAM. The EPAPSAM needed so much energy.
Giving-Out-Diamonds decided to cut off the energy to the house of Ihrbub. He did not pay his bills, so he got no energy anymore.
That was the end of this story.
Is it not a happy ending?
I don’t know what has happened to Ihrbub.
I only know that Giving-Out-Diamonds did not lose his energy anymore. The houses and friends of Ihrbub all felt very much better. Their houses always were glowing, since they did not meet Ihrbub anymore.
Maybe Ihrbub is still sitting in his lazy chair, with terribly swollen and sensitive buttocks. Who knows…..

The search inward

You want to know what you should do in life, you have to make a decision.

In us we have intuition. We feel deep inside what is the best choice.

The more we follow our intuition, the more we will be reinforced and know that to follow our intuition is right.

Sometimes we know what to do and then begin to think what consequences our actions could have.

This usually leads us to wrong conclusions because we just don’t know and cannot know what consequences our actions will have.

Does it mean we should not think about how to act? No, I don’t believe that this is what it means. We only should not deviate from the direction shown by our intuition.

Sometimes we come in difficulties. What does this mean? Does it mean we are on the right track or on the wrong track? It can mean both of these. When we feel connected to our deepest core we know that we have to overcome obstacles. When we feel estranged from our deepest self we may interpret difficulties as beacons telling us to deviate from the right course.

Sometimes we feel excited. Is this a sign of being on the right road? It sometimes is and sometimes is not. When we deepen our mind and pray and meditate and we feel confirmed that our excitement was right, we can trust our bright feelings. When we deepen us and feel doubts coming up in that process, our excitement may have been too external and not a sign of being on the right track.

When we are on the right track we feel united in ourselves, internally and externally there are no contradictions.

Contradictions in our own behaviour and thinking and feelings always are a sign that something is not right in what we pursue.

The road to truth is the road deeper into our self. This road leads us to find God in us. Such a road of finding the origin in us is sometimes long and difficult. On that road of finding our deepest self we will be hindered by many obstacles. These barriers are the shells of our tendency to live a make-up, cosmetic life. Those shells need to be pulled down, one after another, through our own effort to discover who we really are.

When deep darkness falls over us, something is wrong. Something may be wrong in our direction, or something may be wrong with people around us whom we trust. Internal darkness always means that something is wrong, but we still have to find out what is causing that darkness.

Each soul is a mirror

Each soul is a mirror.

Some mirrors are cleaner and shine more brightly. When you meet a soul like that, you can see yourself as you are. You hardly see the other soul, you only see your own reflection.

When you meet someone like that, you are very lucky because you have the chance to solve many problems inside of you. But when you don’t want to look inside of yourself in that situation, you will suddenly be confronted with all these bad feelings and thoughts. You never knew you had them and unless you become very honest with yourself then, you will tend to accuse the mirror.

“He, mirror, I see so many bad things in you. You are a bad mirror. I put you away and go back to my old, dirty mirror. In that blurry mirror I look beautiful. I can make my own image of myself.”

Sometimes the cosmetics fall away from our faces and we see who we really are. How many times does this happen in a lifetime? You are lucky if it happens to you one time. It is your chance to start changing, your one-time opportunity to enter the much needed path of deepest self-investigation.

And if you miss that chance? Then you can never forget how you looked in that shining mirror. You will feel dark inside and you desperately try to make life again as it was before you looked in that mirror. But you cannot manage. Whatever you try. You have to find back the way to that mirror again.

Each soul is like a mirror. Some mirrors are difficult to look in, especially when you are afraid to look into yourself. In such a mirror you see the same as when you look deep in you.

All souls function like mirrors to a certain degree, but there also are mirrors that try to show you a false image. These are the mirrors of flattering souls.

The psychological mechanism of projecting your own inferior qualities into someone else come from the fact that all souls are mirrors and projection is done when someone doesn’t want to recognize that clean mirrors don’t show themselves, but show you in a reflection.

Dare to look in that polished mirror!

Motivating ourselves to live with God

To whatever religion we belong, for most of us it is again and again difficult to motivate ourselves to go our course to live with God. What can be done about it?

First we need to realize that God never wants us to do something unvoluntarily. The reason for this is that we are created to have freedom. The deeper meaning is that God made it such that when we give to God or to others, it also really will be a free gift. Love that is received by demanding it from someone or by tempting someone to give it has no deep meaning. It isn't really love because the person giving that love does it to acquire a certain self-centered benefit.

Therefore, God never asks us to do something that we don't really want to do. How does this relate to our own motivation to live with God? It means that whenever we seriously lack desire to do what we may think we have to do for God, we should not do it. That is my own take on life. Instead, I go in prayer until I found out from where my disliking came. Sometimes in prayer I realize that I did not deeply enough understand God's desire. Sometimes also I realize that what I thought was God's will, wasn't really wanted by God. In the first case, my motivation has deepened and I can do what I know i have to do. In the second case, I was right in not wanting to do it and I can find out what I should do instead.


One big problem can be when God's will is passed on to us by a religious leader. Sometimes a religious leader misunderstands what is God's will. Sometimes a religious leader knows what externally is God's will but he or she does not represent God in terms of love and understanding.

Even when a religious leader knows what is God's will and also has a good relationship to God and love for us, it still is essential that we establish a direct relationship to God about God's will. We all are children of God and God wishes to relate to each of us directly. Furthermore, even if our leader correctly understands God's will, it is not enough for us to blindly follow. We may entirely misunderstand the meaning of what God wants from us and if we have such misunderstanding, it will lead to problems in our life of faith. Even if we can totally trust a central figure, we still need to ask God because we may be lacking in our own comprehension of what he or she tells us.

So we always need to pray to God about all that we do, because it is the right relationship between parents and child and because it is the only way for us to be sure that we have the right understanding of God's will.

Sometimes this can lead to conflicts with the people around us. If a leader or a parental figure has a bad time and isn't connected well to God, we may get problems in our relationship with him or her. If we perceive it to be God's will to do certain things in life, our relatives and friends may have other opinions and find us weird or even openly oppose us.

Also in these cases, the only way to solve it is in prayer. When we pray, God can explain to us the meaning of the problems we have. God always wants to help us with each problem in our lives of faith. We have this assurance because of God's deep love for each of us.


Maybe the most common problem of lacking motivation to do God's will is when we are addicted to a life style that isn't centered on God. It is the nature of sin that it is liked by many people, but sin destroys our heart of love and our desire to do good. Always when our lack of motivation is caused by our own sins, there is only one solution. It is to stop sinning and to go back to God in repentance.


There are still many other ways in which we can motivate ourselves to love God and to live with God. One important method is the study of God's Word. Another gate to God's love is the beauty of creation. Maybe the most effective way to understand God's love and to be motivated in our love for God is by giving out good love ourselves.

But all these roads can be misdirected as well. We could enjoy the beauty of creation in a selfish way. We could be blinded by wrong doctrine to see the real truth in Books of God's Word. We could give love but forget to establish a personal relationship to God and our love may not be the best way of expressing God's love. Therefore, we do absolutely and always need sincere and personal prayer to keep a close relationship to God.

Breathing truth like the fragrance of a flower

We can rely on the truth to lead us to our safe destination. The truth is like the fragrance of a flower. We know that the flower is beautiful when we smell its perfume. Our nose tells us that a flower is graceful and our eyes confirm that realization.

The fragrance of a flower is like the truth of God and the visible flower shows us the love of God expressed in beauty.

Sometimes we are so busy with the occupations of our daily lives that while we speed to our work we don't notice the sweet smell and the beauty of all that is around us. We may miss to see the shining eyes of a child and we may not detect the colors of the dawning of this day's sun. The truth and beauty and love of God are all around us. It is given to us as a free present. We do not need to wait for God's love to come to us. It is already there and all we need to do is to embrace it.

How is it that our senses often become so closed that we miss the greatest gifts around us? There are these disturbing influences everywhere. There is pollution in the world of creation and there is pollution in the world of our hearts and minds. Something has come into our world that we don't like and yet we are destined to live with it and bound to overcome it.

We call it Satan or the work of the devil. We give it a name and then go on with our perceived daily duties.
The truth is given to us on a foundation of our own effort. The truth doesn't just come to us cheap. The truth has a price. That price is first of all that we make a condition to liberate us from what's wrong. It's called separation from Satan or separation from evil. We cannot make a Foundation of Faith without making a separation from what's not of God.

We can study the truth but that could be like a scientist studies the properties of a plant. He may be able to write books about it but at the same time may have missed the experience of the love that God expresses through the flowers. When we only study the truth we can become like those scientists that even though they study God's creation do not really believe in God.

The truth may be learned through study but we cannot experience its beauty and be uplifted by its fragrance unless we live the truth. To live the truth is, in technical terms, called the Foundation of Faith. We make our Foundation of Faith all the time, by each act that we do, by each task we fulfill, as long as we're doing what God is asking us.

In order for us to know what God is asking us, we need to push aside all that attracted us and that now controls us that didn't come from God. We need to see the pure reality through what we may perceive as reality but which is nothing else than the empty entertaining in our worldly daily lives.

And when we liberated ourselves from all the distractions and we simply live the way we have to live, then there are these moments, sudden and unexpected, in which we are intoxicated by the beauty and the fragrance of those beautiful flowers of truth that God has given us.

Dedicating our daily lives to God

To whichever good religion we adhere, the ultimate purpose is to realize our divine potential. Whether we see ourselves as children or servants of God, we do desire to be like God and to live sacred lives of love for God and others.

Each religion has traditions and routines that help us to fulfill the highest goal. There is nothing higher than to love and to be like God in our giving out love, yet how can we translate this into our daily and common activities? There is such a thing as selfish love too. For example, people sometimes love their car more than they love their own family. There exists a lot of evil in this world and when people have fallen to evil habits they sometimes like doing evil.

Religious life means to live centered on God. God wants us to give love to those around us and to have dominion over animals and plants and all things with love. Also to be included in this love is the spiritual world, the world of angels and ancestors.

To say that we can dedicate our lives to God by the love of God expressing through us is a true statement, but it doesn't yet answer the many questions that we have how to do this in daily life. For example, how can we do the dishes in a good way? How can we furnish our houses in a heavenly way? How shall we relate to those collegues who are in the habit of advancing their own career by trying to pull down ours? For what shall we spend our money? How should we earn our money?

It may be possible to give principled answers to each of these questions, but even when we know God's Principles very well, we still often don't know how to apply them. For example, somebody approaches us and asks a question. Out from our habit to give love we might tend be friendly and answer but suppose that this person is part of a gang and while you answer the question another gang member picks your purse from your pocket?

Principles of how to live are very necessary to know, yet cannot help us always in our daily business. Life is far too complex to always immediately know how to apply these principles. Let me give another example. You must vote for a political party. Which one are you going to choose? Should you vote at all and if you do, which candidate is the one wanted by God? We continually bump into these kinds of difficult questions.

So what is the solution? One way chosen by religious people is to simplify their lives. Someone could try to solve the problems by joining a monastery, giving up ownership of personal property, eating simple meals, praying at regular times, etc. That seems to solve some of the problems, but we are people and our lives remain complex however much we would try to simplify. It may help us for a certain period of time to live according to monastery rules but it will not bring us to the ultimate fulfillment of our lives, which at a certain level also includes having a loving family.

There is no other way than to solve these problems in a personal relationship to and communion with God. We need to advance in our religious lives to a point that we continually receive God's guidance for how to do all our daily and even petty things. In my own experience, this means that there are cases that God lets us rely on our good intuition, and there are other cases where we need and can get very concrete instructions from God.

Does this seem a high-reachable goal? I am convinced that God as our Heavenly Parents wants to help us with all that we need. For this God gives us parents or even Original Parents to teach us, teachers to guide us, but as we mature, we cannot anymore rely only on daily instructions of our parents representing God. Maturity means that we have learned to handle our own affairs in good ways. It remains our ultimate goal to keep growing to reach that individual maturity and beyond that, maturity of our relationships with spouse and children, and so forth...

Different views on reality make or break or lives

I give account here of one story, told in three different versions. One description is neutral, one is negative and the last one is positive. It is to remind us how our view on reality reflects more on ourselves than that it always necessarily is an adequate report. We make our own reality by our choice how we see the world. We can desire to be objective and then there is little meaning in life. We can like to be negative and then we might destroy the happiness that could have been our and others' share. Or we can choose to be positive, not fantasizing that what isn't there, but opening ourselves to what gives hope.

We can make hope or break hope.


The objective report:
A man walked a long road from A to B. He started his stroll at the foot of a large mountain, location A. He went up the mountain and was determined to reach the top, location B. On his way up, he took time each day to fill his water container in streams of fresh mountain brooks. He collected fruits and nuts while he was still lower down, as he figured that higher up the mountain there would not be food available anymore. As the mountain ravines got steeper, he had to learn new skills of climbing. One time he fell off a steep rock and sprained his ankle. After a long journey he finally reached the top.


The negative report:
A man walked a long road from A to B. He was extremely arrogant and wanted to show everyone that he could do what nobody else had done. His arrogance was so strong that he just took all that was around him as if it were his own. He stole from the water that flowed down the mountain rivers and took from the fruits of the trees without ever asking to whom they belonged. One time he fell off a rock and hurt his leg. He did not heed this warning to stop his pursuit for power and glory, but went on and finally reached the top. Now he is the number 1 celebrity of the world and I am sure he is going to misuse his position to inspire many more to climb mountains and waste the beautiful natural environment and to become just as arrogant as he is.


The positive report:
A man walked a long road from A to B. I am sure that he was inspired by God and that he saw his task as a challenge to form his good character and to discipline himself to do God's will. On his way to the top he drank of the clean and life-giving water of the mountain streams and each time he felt revived by the sacred energy in the water. He thanked God for providing him with fruits and vegetables and nuts that grew on the mountain slopes. One time he sprained his ankle and when he prayed about it he realized that it had happened because he had been tempted to give up his course. But he re-determined himself and finally reached the top. There he got the deepest revelations from God Almighty and soon he will come down to us to pass on all that he has learned.


We can choose which version of life we wish for ourselves.

The sleeper must awaken...

There is no reason to lose your faith. Things may look dark and gloomy but you always have the possibility to do something positive today. Do something good, develop yourself, and tomorrow you will be better than the person you were today.

When you live like that, also your outlook tomorrow will be better than today. This kind of growth is exponential. With added faith and foundation built each new day, you create better chances all the time. What doesn’t seem possible now is possible tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow. It’s a bit like building interest over interest. The beautiful thing is that in spiritual life you determine your own interest rate.

There is one thing you should never do: to give up. You can learn from making mistakes, but not from giving up. When you gave up, there rests only one thing to do and that is to get on your feet and restart where you succumbed. The only lesson you can learn from giving up is that you shouldn’t have done that.

However difficult life may get, don’t give up your good goals. Better to die while on course than living while off-track.

What do we know about the endless cosmos? What do we know about the infinite possibilities in store for us? How small may be our own vision compared to the Creator’s spectrum!

Now is the time to stand up, pack your bag and walk and make reality of your dreams.
The sleeper must awaken.

We sleepers must awaken and make good what was wrong, make beautiful what was ugly.
The Sun, the Earth, the Moon, the stars, our ancestors are telling us: we sleepers must awaken.

Love reborn

Waves of desire

Sometimes frozen sometimes free

Inaccessible a heart can be

Locked in shackles

Bound in ripples

In drifts of passion

For what cannot be

To the core

Evermore

Through the pains

Blurring rains

From dusty clouds

Ages old

Heirs of ancient cold

My love reborn

In delivery of sting

Will prevail

The ice will melt

The coldness smelt

The waves be free

The price be paid

Hearts in melting

Preparing

For a climax synthesis

A new creation

Looming from the dark

Hope is there

Triumph waiting

The original gem

In the core of our heart is a precious gem

The promise of a new Jerusalem

From the origin is the heartfelt bond

Between God and man, strong as a diamond

A web was woven of ignorance and deceit

Around the core to make us forfeit

What is most central and dear

And gives us vision crystal-clear

Original knowledge and wisdom were obscured

By the woven web of blindness perjured

The diamond rooted deep in our core

Is the engine of healing evermore

Brings unity of body and mind

And greatest joy of every kind

When we lost access to the center of the self

We fail to fulfill the sacred number twelve

Two major illnesses of the heart can occur

The first is what makes the essential blur

God in the self cannot be found

And true existence finds no ground

The second is when a false seed was planted

A pearl that shines but is not warranted

You adore a god who is not divine

Carries a god's name but is just one in line

of those who commit fraud upon fraud

and who are all tolling to harvest laud

The first illness is called materialism

The oldest and most confusing mesmerism

The world of spirit is in matter concealed

Until from greed and covetousness one is healed

The second disease opens the world of spirit

But even when you make visit after visit

You only get more tightly entangled

In the web of idols which holds you strangled

Take the path that leads you behind

The web of reflections of many a kind

The road that leads you back to the gem

Of the original heavenly stem

***

There is no end to growth - poem

There is no end to growth
In responsibility and freedom both
Heaven is made by creative minds
And they can be of many kinds
But not the creativity that kills
Or that brings us many ills

I have looked in the other dimensions
Where people built the nicest mansions
They were not the houses of power
Or where people worked to build a high tower
They were not the houses of the faiths
Of religions that built one-way straits
They were not the buildings of hierarchs
Of secret societies and patriarchs
Heaven is found in simple cottages
Of harmony and love between all ages
Where we find creativity of the simple kind
That leaves all ugly striving behind

To develop and grow is to become independent
In thought and heart and being diligent
There is no easy way to go this road
You cannot take a scheduled boat
You have to set your goal and become an outsider
As you move on and the horizon becomes wider
The world is full with illusions
As people engage in many fake fusions
In such unions they get excited
But forget those who are extradited

The worst of all is to get stalled
In a heaven that is walled
That is no heaven but a prison
Of our mind sucked with poison
Heaven does not have the limitation
Of being forced into adaptation
Further leads the path, it goes on
Far beyond the scare of Armageddon

The goodness of a soul divine

Now it is true that all mistakes we make in life have a purpose and we can learn from them... But it is also true that certain mistakes made by people have caused very much suffering to others.

Now it is true that when suffering comes upon us, there is a deeper reason for it hidden in the karma that we carry... But it is also true that we have free choice and we can choose to make life better for the present and the future.

Now it is true that after you made a mistake, you must take time to learn from it for the future... But it is also true that you can prevent to make certain mistakes. It is better to think twice before doing something than to just do what we feel impelled to do at the moment.

In the life of each person there come these moments that we have vision and faith and hope. That image of hope can easily disappear again in the shadows and distractions of daily life. But we can also take that image of hope as a a beacon that was given to us as a guide and a promise. That beacon of hope is far ahead of us. It may sometimes seem impossible to reach it, but we have gotten the gift of faith for a better future.

Then there is the road to go towards that beacon. While we are on the road, we may often not see the beacon anymore. We feel to sail blindly into a future of which we have a recollection of an image, but not much more than that. What is going to lead us on the way to find that beacon and then to realize our vision?

We each have our own path to go. The course toward the beacon of hope can be in a straighter line, shorter but often more difficult. The way to reach the beacon may also become one with many detours and will almost certainly be much less rewarding.

How to shorten our way into a better spiritual future? The vision given to us is like a promise, a hand reaching out to us. By reaching our hand out toward that promise, we shorten the way. Reaching out our own hand implies that we also must give a promise, a pledge to ourselves first of all, that we are going to take that road and fulfill whatever is necessary to advance on it.

Two promises meet one another. First there is the promise of the Creator for a life of harmony and happiness, a promise that each of us will get at one point in our lives. The other promise must come from ourselves. It is the pledge and determination to do what is necessary to reach our highest goal in life.

Back to a life of learning and internal development

Love is the most essential aspect of life. Love is naturally in us, but it is also something that must be learned and developed. When we don't make effort for that, we may lose the love in our hearts and even fall into the habit of hating.

Of course, the story about love is much more complicated than sketched here. What i want to stress is the importance of living a life of learning and inner development. When people are still in the beginning of their life and are still children, they tend to learn rather automatically. Children play and learn all the time. Their entire life is a life of learning and development. Nobody needs to tell a child to learn to speak its mother tongue. You don't need to tell a child to learn to walk. The child does it all by itself in joyful activities of playing.

Once we get older, the picture changes. We have to go to schools where we learn a lot of good things, but where we also miss to learn about many valuable aspects of life. Schools of today mainly prepare people to become good citizens of the society in that they live. Schools prepare to have a career in that same society. Almost all that we learn is so that we will be able to help building up a society that already is in place. Most people stop learning when they are around 20 years old. Some people continue to learn by having a more challenging career, but also this kind of learning is mostly external and not meant to develop inner qualities such as love and creativity.

In many tribes that lived in ancient history, there was a lot more emphasis on learning. The Celts had an education for some of their members that lasted until they were about 40 years old. Most of this education was given in nature, in an open field in a forest. On such a place everything could be found for a thorough training. Today we can hardly imagine how such an education took place. There are so many secrets to be discovered in our universe that is so much more than just a place of technology and standardized rules for how to live in society.

What is it that makes our life satisfying? I believe that the most essential aspect of human beings is that we are creative. There are different kinds of creativity. Some people are creative in trying to dominate others. That's not what i mean with original creativity. Original creativity is to expand yourself so you become more loving. You want to give something to a person whom you love and to express your love you create something for that person. To do that is always again exciting and there are no boundaries to expanding yourself in such creativity.

Loving people and receiving back their love is never boring. Most importantly, when you die and lose your body, you are not going to lose what you have built up in such a way. When you die you lose your money, your houses, your position in society, but you don't lose your original love and your creativity. Love and creativity are the main assets that you can take with you into spiritual life after physical death.

The beautiful but also difficult thing about living a life of creativity is that you have to make this your own choice. Nobody or almost nobody is telling you to do that. Usually, people get drawn into the life of having a career in some way and then they stop investing into their own inner development. My view on life is that each hour of our existence should be filled with learning and developing. This learning should preferably entail all aspects of our being, especially the more internal ones.

We all are different and some people like making music while others prefer to be a farmer. But also a farmer has ear for music and a musician enjoys the smell of a healthy soil. When you get a sophisticated computer you could use it as a text writer only, as a kind of modern typewriter. You would agree with me that this is a pity because you miss the many possibilities that your computer could give you. When you get a modern car but don't know what it is you might use it as a chicken house. What a shame! Yet, this is rather much how we use our talents. People are potentially able to learn so much and to do so many exciting things in life. I am not only speaking about external aspects of life, but especially about the world of love and spirit. Not even the sky is the limit here.
