Why everyone needs three archangels

Note: This text was originally given to people of the masculine gender. What counts for them as Adam is also true for all those who are female or 'Eve.'

I'll speak here about five reasons why you need three archangels.

1. Without three archangels, you as individual cannot stand in a stable four-position foundation.

2. Without your three archangels, you cannot reach perfection.

3. You need your archangels to protect you.

4. You need your archangels to educate you.

5. You need your archangels to serve you, and you need to learn to be master over angels.

1. Archangels for a stable, individual four-position foundation

Have you ever seen a table standing on one leg? Or a chair wobbling on two legs? The minimum demand for stability is support of three bases or foundations.

What is true in the physical world is in principle also true in a spiritual sense.

The most basic foundation for all creations is the four-position foundation. The four-position foundation means that the first position needs three other foundations for the sake of stability, development and good results.

2. Archangels to reach perfection

You need three archangels in order to reach your individual perfection. This is true for God's original world, as it is true for restoration.

How must you understand this in the right way? Archangels, in the original world in which Adam was born, are beings who have experience and knowledge, because they are much older.

Why did God invent such a system, in which Adam is confronted with archangels?

One could say that this is God's way of developing the world of creation. When you want to develop yourself, it is wise to learn from those who are elder and more experienced than you are. In that way you can learn quickly through inheritance. It doesn't take you long before you know as much as those older beings, those archangels. What took them ages to find out, you can learn quickly from them. In that way, you grow beyond them. Especially when there is more potential in you, as there was in Adam, being God's child, compared with archangels who are in the position of servants.

Individual perfection, for Adam, could be defined as Adam's ability to be master over his archangels, so that Adam's relation to God can never be damaged by the influence of archangels.

In God's original world of creation, Adam could only reach his individual perfection by becoming subject to his archangels. In the world of restoration, this means that fallen Adam must regain the subject position over archangels.

To become subject doesn't mean to tell your archangels what to do, but subject means the one who is giving direction and God's love.

3. Archangels to protect you

Adam's archangels were given to Adam to protect him. The archangels were experienced in the world as it existed then. Not a single child can grow up without being protected by elder ones. You must educate your archangels to fulfill that task.

An archangel stands in a more external position. Therefore, each attack, whether this concerns a physical or a spiritual attack, ALWAYS first comes through the archangels.

4. Archangels to educate you

Depending on your own personal mission, you are receiving archangels from God. When your personal mission is in the field of building and construction, your archangels won't be people or angels with other type of missions.

Those archangels usually know much more than you, in external ways.

Later you also need archangels in spirit world, with whom you must communicate, and who must educate you. Each one of us is Adam or Eve, and one day, you also absolutely need archangels in spirit world, who must educate you in special fields.

5. Archangels to serve you as their master

One of the tasks of Adam is to learn to be master over angels. Your archangels must serve you. Of course, you cannot force your archangels to do this. You have to make them serve you by giving them much love and by guiding them into the right direction toward God.

It is part of Adam's training to learn to become a good master over his archangels. I am now speaking about original archangels, that is: angels. I am not speaking about people who in restoration are temporarily put in the position of archangels. Man is supposed to become a good master over the angels. When your archangels are people, you are not supposed to become their master, but still, those archangels must serve you in all kind of ways, as a way of correcting their own mistakes as archangels.

Faith and tests

Faith is the degree in which you have a good relation to God. The more you have grown in your religious life, the more you will have gained faith.
Faith is like a string, a wire or a piece of rope that binds you with God. The more difficult your mission is, the more complicated the situations are around you, the stronger has to be your connection to God. Through your faith you are bound to God. If you loose the connection to God, you are lost. It is like you would be a plant without roots, or an automobile without gas, or a house without foundations. If your faith breaks down, your relation to God breaks down, and then you are simply completely lost.
If you would go out with a boat on the wide ocean on a trip of several weeks, you are wise if you check whether your boat does function under most extreme conditions. You test your boat and all instruments on it before you dare to go on the ocean. In the same way, before God will allow you to do a new task, God will test your faith.
All the time in your religious life, your faith is being tested. How much do you love God when you come to stand without husband or wife? How much do you love God if you are without food? Does your love for God still hold if God asks you to give up your secure financial foundation? Do you go to God when your father or restoration parent treats you in a harsh way?
There are many tests of faith. If you come under a test of faith given to you by God, you will not know that it is a test. You find yourself in difficulties, and you don’t know why. But most important is how you respond to it. Do you go to God in faith and trust or do you resent God, that is the question.
To trust God or to not trust God, that is the question.
Maybe you feel that you love God and that you are giving everything to fulfill your mission, and then all of a sudden, there are said bad things about you in public. Do you go to God in that situation, or do you resent God and go away from God, that is the question.
Life of religion is a life of being tested.
Suppose that all of a sudden there is being told to you that you lost your mission. This actually always is a test of God. If you accept that you lost your mission, then you will really lose your mission, but if you know that your mission is given to you for all eternity, that your mission is stuck to you just as your own nose belongs to you, then you know that you cannot accept that your mission is taken away. Maybe you have to change your way of doing in order to fulfill your mission, but it cannot be that God would ever take away your mission.
All situations of daily life function as tests of faith in God. Unfortunately, many people do fail these tests of faith.
When Lucifer approached Eve, God saw this as a test of faith for Eve. It doesn't mean that God sent Lucifer to test Adam and Eve, but because God trusts God's children Adam and Eve, such a situation of temptation functions as a test of faith. Eve had to prove that she would obey The Commandment under these difficult circumstances. God did not intervene in this test. God hoped and expected that Eve would act right. When Eve did not act right and fell under Lucifer, God trusted that Eve would learn from her mistakes. When Eve did not really learn from her mistakes, God’s heart was broken, but all that God could conclude was that Eve had failed to pass the test of faith.
Once someone failed to pass a test of faith, God tries to lift the person up. Not always God is successful in this. But even though God’s heart was broken after the fall of Adam and Eve, and even though God did not manage to bring Adam and Eve back to God’s heart until the day of today, God could not ignore the outcome of the test of faith in which both Adam and Eve failed.

To have faith, this is man’s responsibility. God cannot intervene in this. God has to test us, because God must know if we are able to fulfill the mission that God wants to give us. If we fail the test, then we cannot fulfill the mission that God has given us. If we pass a test, then God can give us the mission for which we were created. God can safely let us enter a new stage without having to be worried that we are confronted with situations we could not handle.
To have faith, this is our personal, our own responsibility. To test us, this is what God has to do, because God has to know if we did fulfill our responsibility and if we are ready for the next stage or task of life.
Adam and Eve failed their test of faith, and God is still waiting for them to pass their test of faith and to reach individual perfection after they obeyed The Commandment. One day, both Adam and Eve will pass the tests of faith. God knows that this will happen, but God cannot force Adam or Eve or you or me to do what we don’t really want to do. God has to know if we are ready for new responsibilities, and therefore God is testing our faith. If we use God’s tests in the right way, then we learn from the outcome of God’s tests of ourselves. In that way, if we failed a test, we can find out what we did wrong, and then we can correct our mistakes and still qualify for the mission that God wants to give us. If we passed a test, then we can prepare ourselves for the following test.
To have faith, this is your responsibility, this is my responsibility. We must prove our faith in front of God and God can only know if we have faith by testing our faith. If we take these tests in the right way, knowing that through tests God wants to prepare us and help us, then we can advance in each situation in life, regardless whether we passed or failed a test of faith. Most important is that we keep trusting God, that we never think that God’s intentions were not so good.
The worst in life is when you failed a test and after it you begin to blame God for everything that happens to you. There always is a way back to God. God is always waiting for you to do what God expects you to do. Therefore, the very worst of all is if you give up your trust in God and begin to live a life without God, feeling frustrated about God and hating God and disliking God.

Growth of a foundation and the element of time

How much time does it take to build a foundation in the world? What stages are there when you want to build a foundation?

Suppose you want to build up a business. How is this done in accordance with original principles and how much time does this take? Or you want to found a university. How should this be done and how much time does it take?

First, there have to be ideas and principles for how your foundation must be built up. These ideas and principles are centered on the purpose for which your foundation is built up. In the original world, those ideas and principles come from God Himself. Your foundation will be an expression of a certain desire which emerged in God and which you inherited from God. Therefore, the purpose of your foundation should lie in God. When your foundation serves a goal liked by God, then your foundation must be built entirely according to God’s principles and ideas. If your foundation is not serving a goal liked by God, you still need principles and ideas, but they won’t come from God directly.

The bigger that your foundation has to be, and the larger the purpose which must be fulfilled by it, the more time you will need for finding out principles and ideas for how to build the foundation.

Second, after your foundation has been thought out, your foundation must become realized in spiritual and physical form. Before you can build a physical foundation, you will have to make a spiritual foundation.

Again, if you didn’t center your foundation on God’s wishes, then you will probably be quickly finished with the spiritual part and you will right away try to make the physical foundation for it. But there does not exist a foundation in the world, an organization or a business or a structure, which doesn’t have a spiritual foundation.

For example, if your purpose is to quickly build a business so that you, as individual, can get rich, you still need some kind of spiritual foundation. A few spirits who unite with your self-centered goal are enough for your spiritual foundation, and such spirits can be found quickly. Usually, people are not aware that they need and actually did build a spiritual foundation for their business or organization.

Third, your foundation can only blossom over time when there is harmony between positive and negative aspects, or between masculinity and femininity. In most cases, such a harmony is a matter of course resulting from a relationship between a husband and a wife who together build up a foundation.

Whoever wants to build a foundation must follow a certain path of growth. That growth starts with love or desire which is centered on a certain purpose, for which that foundation is being made. Ideally, such love is centered on God and on God’s ideals. The desire of love makes the foundation to be wished and such desires or ideals need to be worked out in the form of ideas and principles.

When there are ideas and principles there comes the stage of transforming such ideas and principles in expressions of energy. Such expressions first must be realized spiritually and then physically.

In order to guarantee expansion of the foundation, there has to be harmony between positive and negative or between masculine and feminine aspects of the foundation. That harmony makes out the forms of the foundation and expressed over time, this constitutes growth of the foundation.

Let me try to make all this clearer with examples. Suppose someone, Mr. C wants to build a business with the purpose of making much money for himself. First that person must get the ideas and principles for how to make that company. The ideal is a self-centered ideal. Suppose the person gets the idea to trade a certain product of the people living in his village. Let’s say the people of his village are fishermen and they catch fish at sea.

Mr. C wants to earn a lot of money and he gets the idea to buy the fish of his fellow villagers and to sell that fish in a nearby city. Mr. C has a self-centered motivation, so he wants to buy the fish very cheap and sell it expensive. The idea for his business has been born and the principle for it is simple: make sure that no one else buys fish in the village. Some more principles Mr. C must think out, for instance he must know how to transport the fish from the village to the city and how to keep it fresh.

The second stage of the business of Mr. C is that Mr. C has a big enough spiritual foundation for his trade. Mr. C has a self-centered motivation, and because there are mainly self-centered people in spirit world, Mr. C quickly can find enough spirits to support his business. Actually, Mr. C is unaware of the fact that he needs a spiritual foundation, but in this case that doesn’t matter, because the spiritual foundation is easily realized.

Then Mr. C must make a physical foundation. For example, he needs a car to transport the fish from village to city. He needs a place to sell the fish in the city.

When Mr. C wants to expand his foundation into the future, Mr. C needs children who inherit the business. For this purpose, Mr. C gets married. Mr. C is a man, and in order that his business attracts a diversity of customers, Mr. C employs girls to sell the fish on the market in the city.

This was, shortly described, the course someone must go in order to build up a self-centered business foundation.

Now, suppose that your task is given to you by God. God wants you to build up an individual-level business. How are you going to do that and what kind of difficulties will you encounter?

First, you must unite with God’s ideal and purpose for your business. If you cannot overcome your feelings against God, you will not ever find out what God wants you to do. In that case, you will not be able to build up your business under God. You will not be able to find principles and ideas how to do it.

Suppose that you did center yourself enough on God and you could sense God’s desires for your business and you even could find out from God principles and ideas how to build it. In that case, your next task is that you make a spiritual foundation for your business. As your business only needs to be on the individual level, you only need three good spirits to support your ideals and to work together with you. But how are you going to find such spirits? You must convince people in spirit world that they can trust you before they are going to work together with you for long time. And even when those spirits would like to help you, you probably often need to correct those spirits because they diverged from the ideals which God revealed for your business.

On the basis of having spirits supporting you in a God-centered way you can now start to make the actual physical foundation. For this you have to work day and night, and because many people in the world are against God you must win many battles against enemies in the physical world.

Finally, you must make that your business gets a good and harmonious form and that its existence is also guaranteed in the future. For this purpose you, if you are man, must harmonize your relation to female individuals, centering that relation on God. Then you will be able to bring such female elements into your business, and only that will secure a good future for your business.

Suppose that God didn’t ask you to make an individual or family foundation but that God asked you to make a cosmic foundation. That cosmic foundation does not only involve matters of economics but it includes all aspects of human life, such as politics, justice, science, agriculture, music, art, science, etc., etc.

In that case you also must first find God’s principles and ideas for how God’s cosmos must look like. This is only possible if you as individual became able to really deeply feel God’s desires for God’s ideal. And that is only possible if you went a very difficult and long course of restoring the failures which central figures of restoration history have made. Once you are united with God’s desires, God can begin to reveal you the great variety of ideas and principles for how God has purposed God’s ideal world.

After God revealed such ideas and principles to you, you will have to make a cosmic-level foundation in spirit world. You need the guaranty that once you started to build God’s ideal cosmic foundation, no evil spirit will invade or destroy it. For that purpose you must fight against and win over the spirits who have controlled spirit world ever since the fall of man. To win that fight you must go into a cosmic spiritual battle and be victorious.

Only after you managed that, you can begin to make a foundation for God’s cosmos in the physical world.

Meanwhile, you also must have worked to secure the inheritance of God’s foundation into the future and also for the harmonious constitution of the cosmic foundation in the present. For this you, Adam, must have brought a woman under God and you must build a family under God.
