How to get knowledge in the right way

BooksImage via Wikipedia

The following text was given as a revelation by an angel. The content is entirely his. Cursive texts are mine, JE.

People do get knowledge in many ways. There is the way to get knowledge through experience; there is the advancing of knowledge through reasoning. Both experience and reasoning can be systematized, as is done in science. But science has a very big problem and a big part of reality is closed for scientists. Scientists have the standard that all their truth should be testable. When certain principle can be tested, they get value. Even then, scientists are not yet really sure if their knowledge is real. They keep having a systematic doubt about their own knowledge. At the same time, they tend to be very arrogant and think they know more than common people. Their arrogance and doubting are actually the same. If scientists were sure about their knowledge, they would not be proud of it at the same time.

Note: I don't think that the angel argues here against the value of testing of truth. But certain truth can only be tested by individuals and is not automatically replicable for others. Also, there are realms of truth that exist in a spiritual realm. To test this, one needs instruments with spiritual sensitivity. Such instruments do exist in the spiritual senses of people. They don't exist in the world of physical things.

The important question to ask is: what do present-day scientists miss? In what way is their method insufficient?

The big problem with scientists is that they have a deep doubt in the truth. One can only be sure that there is truth when one has a connection to God, to the origin of your existence. When you know that God exists, you also know that there are true principles. Then, having the right attitude, you know that you own understanding of the truth will always be limited in certain ways. You can have understanding of real truth and at the same time awareness of your own lack of understanding. This gives one a real humble attitude while you at the same time have some real knowledge of the truth.

Scientists struggle with their own faithlessness in God and so they cannot really believe there is truth. They want to make their own truth, but then they must admit that this truth can only be true until someone falsifies it.

You get real funny discussions in that way. I have often followed such discussions among scientists and it always was really funny, and at the same time very tragic.

The question we must answer is how to get real knowledge. If you have a personal experience, then there is real knowledge in such an experience. You think about it and come to certain conclusions about life. If you do this with a pure heart, without self-centered motives, you acquire some real knowledge. If you are not pure, you will try to justify certain wrong deeds of yourself and then you are blinded for the truth.

But how can it be that you can acquire real knowledge from thinking about your own experiences? What happens there is your touch, your contact with reality. You get a connection to the real world and of course, you get real knowledge in that way.

How to make sure that your knowledge is good knowledge? This can only be guaranteed when you life is an entirely good life. People who sin usually know very little truth. Original and good people can learn very much. You can check your experiences only in prayer. It is in your personal relation to God only that you can have a standard for the truth.

There is a way to acquire truth that is only available to those who have further advanced their spiritual abilities. Everything that has happened and everything that was created is laid down in energy patterns. Even when the person who writes down this text is able to do it, passing on this information is only possible if at this moment the 'medium' makes a connection to the content of this revelation. This is an energetic process. It is not a process of experience and not a process of reasoning. It is a direct coming into touch with energetic realities. All knowledge is captured in energy patterns. This is true not only for true knowledge, but also for false knowledge. You can have a very direct access to knowledge if you are able to unit yourself with the energy patterns of this knowledge. In that way you can inherit knowledge from others. You get knowledge that already existed for someone else.

Like you must do with experience and reasoning, you must also check this intuitive receiving of knowledge in your relation to God.

One of the main conditions to be able to succeed in this way of getting knowledge in this way is your total investment into this process. Half-hearted people will never get knowledge in this way.

The traditional name for this method of getting knowledge is 'intuition.' Intuition is much more than just a feeling. Many people believe that they have intuition, but for them it is often confused with emotions and feelings, or it is only a rudimentary intuition in that they might get some but little understanding of truth. Intuition can only be developed until the level that one can acquire very extensive knowledge about many fields of life.

Note: I want to add a few lines about the intuitive method of acquiring knowledge. There are many varieties of this intuitive method. One is to receive a revelation from God, a sudden divine insight that people may acquire when they are pure and have deep desire to receive such a truth. Another one is to connect yourself with truth that has been acquired by others. The method of passing on this kind of truth is not through words, but through an immediate uniting with energy patterns that exist in that other being. Such a way of getting knowledge can also be applied by uniting energetically with an object of truth, for example a book. Some people experienced to have sudden access to the entire content of a book that was written long ago by someone else. The content of such a book has been kept in the spiritual realm and is accessible to certain individuals who made the right conditions for receiving the content of such a book.

The intuitive way of receiving knowledge does not automatically guarantee that what you receive is the truth. It depends on who is the source of that information and also on your own level of living. A person who is self-centered will be inclined to misuse information, and even though the information originally may have been truth, when it is misused it doesn't anymore deserve the qualification of truth.

The search inward

Reason and IntuitionImage by ecstaticist via Flickr

You want to know what you should do in life, you have to make a decision.

In us we have intuition. We feel deep inside what is the best choice.

The more we follow our intuition, the more we will be reinforced and know that to follow our intuition is right.

Sometimes we know what to do and then begin to think what consequences our actions could have.

This usually leads us to wrong conclusions because we just don’t know and cannot know what consequences our actions will have.

Does it mean we should not think about how to act? No, I don’t believe that this is what it means. We only should not deviate from the direction shown by our intuition.

Sometimes we come in difficulties. What does this mean? Does it mean we are on the right track or on the wrong track? It can mean both of these. When we feel connected to our deepest core we know that we have to overcome obstacles. When we feel estranged from our deepest self we may interpret difficulties as beacons telling us to deviate from the right course.

Sometimes we feel excited. Is this a sign of being on the right road? It sometimes is and sometimes is not. When we deepen our mind and pray and meditate and we feel confirmed that our excitement was right, we can trust our bright feelings. When we deepen us and feel doubts coming up in that process, our excitement may have been too external and not a sign of being on the right track.

When we are on the right track we feel united in ourselves, internally and externally there are no contradictions.

Contradictions in our own behaviour and thinking and feelings always are a sign that something is not right in what we pursue.

The road to truth is the road deeper into our self. This road leads us to find God in us. Such a road of finding the origin in us is sometimes long and difficult. On that road of finding our deepest self we will be hindered by many obstacles. These barriers are the shells of our tendency to live a make-up, cosmetic life. Those shells need to be pulled down, one after another, through our own effort to discover who we really are.

When deep darkness falls over us, something is wrong. Something may be wrong in our direction, or something may be wrong with people around us whom we trust. Internal darkness always means that something is wrong, but we still have to find out what is causing that darkness.

The Truth is one

Photo JE

The more that we go from internal to external, the more all is split and diversified. The world on the level of things, human beings and animals and plants and all that is made from minerals, is very heterogeneous.

On the next, more internal level of existence, that of the mind, the world of ideas and feelings, there still exist many different ideas.

When we look still more internal and we come on the level of the original heart of love which is connected to God, we find much more unity. In God, in the Source, all is One.

This diversification going from inner to outer reflects the process of creation. All what is created comes from one Source. From the Source out, God, who is most internal and who cannot be adequately described with words that are more external, the process of creation must have been one of expression into ever more different bodies and things.

Each human being is in essence a full and direct expression of God. We are created in the image of God means we can feel to be children of God. Children are like the parents, they have no lesser value than the parents and can be fully united in love. I believe that our relation to God can be so close, our love can be so deep, that we can say we feel God as our parents. With these words we describe the depth of our relationship to God which can only be comprehended on the level of love.

There is no creation without diversification. The essence of creativity is that something new is made. In the process of creation something new is added to the existing world. There was a time that the music of Bach did not yet exist. We can hardly imagine that now. Each painting, each music composition, each creation that we make adds a new entity to the world, changes the world in which we live and this world will never be the same again.

All creations that God made have their origin in God and are in their essence united with God. When we see the animals created by God we can feel God’s love, spirit and beauty in each of them.

Many creations in the world of humans are not anymore rooted in God’s love. Such creations were not made from deepest love, they were made only on a more external level and the value of such creations is diminished in comparison to original creations.

We people can also make original creations, when we are in a process of creativity that sprouts from the deepest love in us. Such human creations become part of God’s world of creativity and have an eternal value.

If all knowledge of the world had been developed in love for and union with God, there would only be one truth. All the knowledge of the world would be in a field of united love and there would not be contradictions in such knowledge.

Because all people are unique and look at the world from different perspectives, such knowledge would also still be diverse and reveal personal viewpoints and yet these points of view would not contradict one another. They would complement and harmonize instead of be in competition.

That there exists ‘knowledge’ that is in disagreement with other ‘knowledge’ is only because such knowledge came from a source that wasn’t the original One.

Do we come in touch with this kind of knowledge from more shallow sources then these always bring conflicts in our mind. Whenever there are conflicts in our mind it is because some of what we learned or believed is not rooted in the eternal, absolute truth, which is also diverse but in a unifying, harmonizing and expanding way.

To get out from this level of conflicts in the mind there is only one path to go, which is to deepen our search and connect to more internal levels of our own being where we do find God in ourselves.

Breathing truth like the fragrance of a flower

We can rely on the truth to lead us to our safe destination. The truth is like the fragrance of a flower. We know that the flower is beautiful when we smell its perfume. Our nose tells us that a flower is graceful and our eyes confirm that realization.

The fragrance of a flower is like the truth of God and the visible flower shows us the love of God expressed in beauty.

Sometimes we are so busy with the occupations of our daily lives that while we speed to our work we don't notice the sweet smell and the beauty of all that is around us. We may miss to see the shining eyes of a child and we may not detect the colors of the dawning of this day's sun. The truth and beauty and love of God are all around us. It is given to us as a free present. We do not need to wait for God's love to come to us. It is already there and all we need to do is to embrace it.

How is it that our senses often become so closed that we miss the greatest gifts around us? There are these disturbing influences everywhere. There is pollution in the world of creation and there is pollution in the world of our hearts and minds. Something has come into our world that we don't like and yet we are destined to live with it and bound to overcome it.

We call it Satan or the work of the devil. We give it a name and then go on with our perceived daily duties.
The truth is given to us on a foundation of our own effort. The truth doesn't just come to us cheap. The truth has a price. That price is first of all that we make a condition to liberate us from what's wrong. It's called separation from Satan or separation from evil. We cannot make a Foundation of Faith without making a separation from what's not of God.

We can study the truth but that could be like a scientist studies the properties of a plant. He may be able to write books about it but at the same time may have missed the experience of the love that God expresses through the flowers. When we only study the truth we can become like those scientists that even though they study God's creation do not really believe in God.

The truth may be learned through study but we cannot experience its beauty and be uplifted by its fragrance unless we live the truth. To live the truth is, in technical terms, called the Foundation of Faith. We make our Foundation of Faith all the time, by each act that we do, by each task we fulfill, as long as we're doing what God is asking us.

In order for us to know what God is asking us, we need to push aside all that attracted us and that now controls us that didn't come from God. We need to see the pure reality through what we may perceive as reality but which is nothing else than the empty entertaining in our worldly daily lives.

And when we liberated ourselves from all the distractions and we simply live the way we have to live, then there are these moments, sudden and unexpected, in which we are intoxicated by the beauty and the fragrance of those beautiful flowers of truth that God has given us.

Becoming a body of truth

The universe is built according to logical laws and principles. This is the reason why scientists can discover and describe such laws and why many physical events are predictable. Also all our technology is based on understanding cosmic principles.

Also we ourselves are created according to laws and principles. Many of these are working on a more internal and spiritual level. When we make a complex creation in the physical world, we need to have some concept or design before we can create. Sometimes such a concept or design is more internal and unconscious, sometimes detailed designs are made before the actual building process can begin. For example, architects make designs from which houses are built.

In such a design many principles are incorporated. I imagine that also the Creator had such a design in mind before everything including human beings were created.
We can imagine ourselves to be created from the Word or Logos. We are expressions of the Word or the Truth. We can see ourselves as bodies of truth, body meaning a substantial expression and also referring here to our spiritual and internal aspects such as the mind.

When we strive for self-perfection, we need to find back to the truth. When we know the truth for our internal and spiritual and physical life, we can act and live in the right way. All truth from God is grounded in God’s love.

To change ourselves in a good way, we need to know how to do it and this we know by learning truth. Truth is something that we all have in us. We can find and know truth by connecting to our deepest essence, in prayer and meditation and through our intuition.

Another way of finding truth is by reading books that people have written who discovered truth.

How can we bring such truth into us? It is not enough to have intellectual knowledge of truth. It is even very doubtable if any intellectual knowledge which is not grounded in our deepest essence has value of truth.

Truth concerning our selves is only truth when this truth is expressed in our life and is incorporated in our entire being. This can only happen when we don’t just speak or write truth but also practice truth in our entire life.

To really become new beings and expressions of truth, we need to live in truth all the time. Each thought we have, each word we say, each action we make should become an expression of truth that comes from the Creator.

This process is not something to be done just at some daily or weekly hours. It is a process that can and should go on continually, by always searching to find truth in all that we do, be it reading or praying and meditating or performing actions of love and creativity. Only in that way we can make truth to perfuse our entire being.
