The four elements of creation explained to children

During the past few months i have been studying to understand about how our bodies work and also how all of creation is made. Today i want to tell you something about what i found out.

You know that God exists, but God is invisible. We cannot see God. We cannot touch God. We cannot hear God with our physical ears. We only know that God is in us and that God speaks in our hearts. You also know that God is everywhere in nature around us. God is in the beauty of a flower and God is in the goodness of people.

God is invisible. But you can feel your own body and when you walk with your dog, then you know that he can pull very hard on the line so that you must be careful that you don’t fall. Sometimes it rains very hard and then you get wet. Then you feel this very well and you hear the rain.

What i try to tell you is that on the one side, there is God, Whom you cannot see. But God made everything. On the other side, there are all the things and the living beings which God has made. Is that not strange, that God, Who is invisible, could make all the things and the living beings which are very well visible and touchable?

When you think about this, then it must be so that there is some kind of thing which is in-between God and all what God created. Is that not logical? That there has to be something in-between God, Who is invisible, and all what God created which is visible?

Why do i think this? When you think of a car, then first it stands somewhere. Then, when you start the motor, it can drive around. Do you think that to start the motor and to drive the car you only need to turn the key? No, much more is needed. Do you know what is needed most of all? There is needed gas for the motor. And the gas is actually something that provides energy.

In all the things that were made and that are visible, there is something that we call energy. How do the plants grow? A plant needs all kind of things. It needs water and fertilizer and it also needs light and warmth. When you put a plant on a dark place, it will not grow anymore.

The light also is a form of energy. Also the warmth from the sun is a kind of energy. All created things are made out of energy. Also you yourself need energy. Can you live long without taking in food? The motor of a car needs gas, but the body of a human being needs food. Food gives energy to the body so that the body can work.

What did we now discover? I began with speaking about God, Who created everything but Who is invisible. And all the created things are very well visible. But how can these things now relate to God?

This is because in-between God and all the created things and beings there is something that we call energy. Actually, in God there is energy and in all the things there also is energy. But can you feel energy? Can you see it? Energy is a strange thing. When the sun shines on you, you can feel the warmth. The warmth is a kind of energy. But also the energy in the food is energy. Food makes your body that it can work. But can you see the energy in the food? In a sense, what you can see in energy is not the energy itself, but you see or sense that which the energy does with you. The energy of the sun makes you warm, but the energy itself is not so easily visible.

So we see that energy, on the one side is invisible, like God Himself is invisible, and on the other side, energy makes that all things work and therefore can also be touched and felt.

Today i will try to explain to you about how all the things of creation have been made. Until now i only have explained you about energy. God made all things of creation out of energy. And this energy can be seen and felt in different ways. Some energy you feel as warmth, like the sun beams, other energy gives a push, like energy that makes a car to drive around.

In the beings of creation, there are four types of energy that make that all beings of creation can exist. First there is a type of energy which is closest to God. Just think of yourself. When a baby is born, it comes out from the mother. In the mother, the baby doesn’t breathe yet. When a lamb comes out from the mother sheep, it didn’t breathe yet because it is closed in the belly of the sheep. When the lamb comes out, the first what the lamb must do is to breathe. We call this breathing the breath of life. What do you breathe in? It is air. So, air which has life in it, that is the energy which is in all living beings and this energy is closest to God.

What does a living being need more? Did you see a dead animal sometimes? A dead animal is cold. But a living being is warm. The sun is the body in the sky that gives us warmth and it also gives us light. The sun is actually a big ball of fire. So the second type of energy that is needed for all living beings is what we could call fire. Fire is the second element of creation. Air is the element of God, and fire is what you could call the fatherly or the masculine element.

What else is needed for all living beings? The third element or type of energy is water. Nothing can live without water. Sometimes we speak about the water of life. This way of saying shows that life cannot exist without water. Water is a kind of energy. In water is a lot of energy and this energy is also needed for making living beings. Our own bodies almost entirely exist of water. Water is the motherly kind of energy that is needed for creations.

There is one more element of creation which is needed for everything which lives. This fourth element of creation is what we call the earth. The earth means the earth itself, but it also means all the minerals that exist. God made a number of minerals out of which everything exists. For example, iron is a mineral and in our bodies, there is also iron. And iron, when you look at it very closely, is just a type of energy. All the minerals together, that is what we call earth. And earth is also a type of energy.

The first type of energy brings God into the living beings. That first type of energy is the breath of life or air.

The second type of energy brings fatherly energy into all living beings. That second element of creation is called fire.

The third type of energy brings motherly energy into all living beings. That third element of creation is called water.

The fourth type of energy brings Godly, fatherly and motherly elements united into all living beings. That fourth type of energy is what can be felt the best. Nevertheless it is a type of energy. It is energy which is mostly visible and it is called earth.
