The spiritual meaning of Holy Grounds and Holy Trees

Systems of Holy Grounds and Holy Trees have existed in the past and they do exist in the present in different religions and cultures. It may be different how such places are used in the physical world. Often they are sites of prayer and contact to the spiritual world. Sometimes temples are built on such locations.

From a spiritual viewpoint, such Holy Grounds and - Trees can be seen as crossroads of more roads in spirit world coming together. In the physical world the network that connects several Holy Grounds is invisible, but in the spiritual world it can be clearly seen and experienced.

These spiritual networks are often made by angels and kept intact by human spirits who travel over the roads of the network. When a religious group has established such a network of Holy Grounds in a good way, many spirits of that religion will be able to visit places that otherwise would not be reachable. For someone praying on such a Holy Ground under a Holy Tree, that may mean that his or her questions are more quickly answered by spirit world and, in case the Holy Ground has really been dedicated to God, from God.

Roads in spirit world is a big topic by itself. Roads in spirit world may be connected to roads in the physical world, meaning that spirits can use the roads in the physical world to travel from A to B. This is only one way how roads in spirit world can be formed. Other roads, the ones connected to Holy Grounds, are not necessarily bound to physical roads. These spiritual roads may cross other spiritual roads as if these different roads would exist in different dimensions.

In the order of restoration of God's Ideal, the 'Garden of Eden,' the establishment of Holy Grounds is a first stage. The Holy Grounds represent the centers of the Gardens of Eden. Later houses can be built, in a second stage. In a third stage, temples can be constructed.

The Holy Trees have a similarity to man. Trees are a kind of image representation of man. Trees connect to Heaven and Earth and spread their influence and elements horizontally. The elements that are given out are made out of Heaven and Earth, this is a spiritual or energetic reality. In the physical world this is the same. The tree takes in light and gases from 'heaven' and water and nutritional elements from the earth and combines these two in a chemical process that makes the tree grow and send out oxygen to its environment.

Tribes that existed long ago often had their religion centered on Holy Trees. Druids knew how to use the trees to enhance the druid's abilities in many different ways. Such trees and grounds would often be placed on energy lines of the earth.

Because the Holy Trees clearly have a spiritual reality, if something goes wrong in spirit world, it mostly will be visible in the physical world. The tree gets ill or is blown over by a storm or is cut by people who don't understand the significance.

Five reasons why we need to understand the spiritual world

HTML clipboard

Is the spiritual world the realm of creepy haunting ghosts and weird experiments with spiritualism? Is it the magic practiced by shamans and druids in primitive tribes or strange New-Age groups? No, the spiritual world is an integral part of our daily lives, but it needs training and development to realize this. Here I'll give five reasons why we need to understand the spiritual world.

1. The spiritual world is the origin of creations

All life on earth has begun in the spiritual world. The spiritual world existed before we came into being. It even existed before the Earth was made. All creations of God begin with the less dense reality of the spiritual and are eventually expressed into the realm of the physical, in some way or another. Angels existed before we did and they served God, helping to make our physical world of humans and animals and plants.

2. The spiritual world and the physical world form a duality that makes up the entire cosmos

The spiritual world and the physical world can be understood as forming a duality very similar in nature as that of mind-body, male-female, yang-yin. The spiritual world is in the position of internal and the physical world in the position of external. The physical world as it is cannot exist without the spiritual world. The spiritual world cannot develop without the physical world.

Also our own bodies are a duality of spiritual and physical. We have not only a physical body, but also a spirit body. When the physical body dies, the spirit lives on in the spiritual world. While religious life can be understood as the craving and learning to connect with God the Creator, spiritual life is life of the spirit. Spiritual life is becoming aware of our spiritual reality and existence and to learn to live a gratifying spiritual life.

3. All our ancestors live in the spiritual world

Imagine that you formed a family and you got children, grandchildren or even great-grandchildren. One day you move into the spirit world. Would you not be very much desiring to see how your descendants are doing? Your love for your children and grandchildren and all generations coming out from them will move you to stay with them, help them, guide them from the spiritual world.

But now you try to do this and some of your descendants don't even notice you are there. How frustrating this is! But how fulfilling when you manage to dwell in the house of descendants who love and respect you, want to learn from you and who invite you to be with them whenever you come.

The love between ancestors and descendants is a powerful force that unites the spiritual and the physical worlds. It is not firstly about hidden knowledge, it simply is about the loving communion between parents and children expanding over the generations.

4. The truth and facts of history are all kept in the spiritual world

While some people receive truth and revelations of truth directly from God, many others learn about God's Principles from angels and ancestors who dwell in the spiritual world. Here are kept the largest libraries of the world, all the knowledge that people on earth ever acquired, and also all the knowledge that angels have not yet managed to reveal to people in the physical world.

Of course, not everything that comes from the spiritual world must be seen as truth. There also are deceptive angels who act like snipers and who may confuse us about what is true. But there is no knowledge that we can acquire that has not developed first in the spiritual world. Even modern technology such as computers have existed in the spiritual world since long.

Moreover, all the facts of history are kept in the spiritual world. These facts are held in the memories of angels and spirits who actually have lived through that history. But also, all facts that ever took place since the beginning of time are kept in the form of energy patterns, energy imprints that can be studied by those who learned to do this.

5. We are born in the physical world but our eternal future is in the spiritual world

After we are conceived, we live for 40 weeks in the womb of the mother. During that period of time the spirit and the physical body of the fetus are not yet connected because they each are still in a stage of being formed and created in a protective environment. At birth, the spirit and physical body unite and live a life of being united during the entire existence in the physical world. Finally, at the end of our lives, we enter a third stage. The physical body dies and the spirit ascends into the spiritual world. Here we live an eternal life where development never ends.

The physical-life stage is a preparation for our eternal future in the spiritual realms. During our physical life we must reach a level that our spirits have developed enough to make a good start in the spiritual realms. We need to have learned about the spiritual reality, have developed our spiritual awareness and senses so that once we arrived in the spiritual world we shall be able to independently move and to establish our home in the spiritual world and to visit our descendants on earth to help them in their course.

Finally, is knowledge about the spiritual world automatically leading us to understand more about God? Although ideally it should be that way, in reality there are people who develop spiritual abilities not under the control of God but under the dominion of evil spirits and angels. This is of course not what we should do. Therefore, there is no good spiritual development without living a life of prayer to God and of love for God.

The spiritual aspects of God's creations are eternal gifts of love, truth and energy

God created the universe and all beings and things. God created this from love. We also say that all beings and things originally are bodies of God's truth, expressing the fact that there is design and principle in all that God created. We know that all that exists is basically energy, therefore it is also correct to state that all beings and things are expressions of God's energy.

All beings and things were made from God's love, God's word and energy. Love represents the level of the heart, God's word comes from God's mind and energy can be seen as the basis of all that exists on the plane of bodies.

When we look at a flower, a tree, a plant or an animal, people, what do we see? We see a body that contains God's love, God's truth and God's energy.

There is a great diversity in all of creation. There are so many animals, plants and things that were all created by God. Why are there so many different creations of God? It can only be because God wants His love, truth and energy to reach each and everyone of God's living creations. Each flower, plant or animal or thing of nature was created by God to show us and give us God's love in a very unique way.

All that exists and that was not contaminated by evil gives to us expressions of God's love, principle and energy. We can find God, come to know God more deeply when we realize this and let God's love enter our hearts as God's love is expressed in the diverse creations.

In the Native American tradition there is a concept 'medicine.' Many things can be medicine. Of course, healing plants are medicine, but also certain things are considered to have the power of medicine. We seek healing for our wounded hearts in a world that has injured many of the living souls and killed others. The healing is in the love, truth and energy of God as given to us through God's creation, God's children who express God's love, the animals and plants and the things in the world of minerals. All this is medicine.

Look at a simple flower. That flower takes in the rays of the sun and the moon and the stars. The flower was made as a recipient of the energies that are made in the cosmos. Also we, human beings, receive those energies, but that particular flower, plant or tree, it was made to receive very special aspects of love, truth and energy. That flower is a specialized recipient that serves us by taking in and then sharing the love, truth and energy that we could not so easily receive directly.

This is how God created everything in a beautiful relationship of everyone and everything needing each other. This is not just a physical reality. Each living being or thing also has a kind of spiritual reality. While the physical existence is temporary for all beings and things, the spiritual reality is lasting. It means that while physically we may lose much of what was ours, spiritually we can keep that what we inherited and built up.

The spiritual reality of God's love, truth and energy is like a promise of God that what God has given us will be ours into all eternity. We can only understand God when we inherit this eternal or spiritual aspect of God's gifts to us.

Some difficult questions related to witnessing

"What are you doing to save the world, to help the suffering people, to solve the problems of history?"

"I go out and tell the people to join our movement."

"Yes, but what are you doing for the suffering people, to make this world a better world right now?"

"I ask the people to come to us and help us."

"To help you to do what?"

"To also go out and ask more people to join our movement."

"Is that all you are doing?"

"When everyone joins our movement, then all the problems are going to be solved. We have the greatest plans and strategy to save humankind."

"So your goal is that everyone joins your movement. What are you going to do when you succeeded? And how long is it going to take you before everyone joined?"

"Hmm, never thought of that. I don't know. But once everyone joined, I imagine the entire world has become heaven."

"Are you sure?"

Some principles concerning restoration of blood lines

When man was created, already the angels existed. We know the fall of man to be one of an invasion by angels. Man came under the influence of fallen angels and man's situation, man's heart, mind and body were affected by their fall.

A main result of the fall of man is what we call original sin. 'Original sin' is a concept that describes the first sin of man and it also refers to the first invasion by angels into man's existence. We can give names to later invasions by fallen angels, such as ancestral sins (referring to the sins of our ancestors), collective sin (referring to sins of groups of people), and personal sins (the sins a person committed in his or her own life).

Sin is making union with fallen angels or fallen people who are not centered on God. Sin can express through unprincipled desires, thoughts, feelings, actions.

Note that there are two typical sins. The first is sin committed with fallen angels, which is called the spiritual fall. The second is sin done through union with fallen people, which is called the physical fall.

The origin of sin is in the domination of man by evil angels. When we look at a human being and a family as a kind of house, the original sin was the first invasion of that house by an evil angel. That evil angel planted unprincipled elements into that house in the form of bad love, unwanted energies, wrong desires and false thoughts, tendencies for selfish actions.

When a family called Adam's family, consisting of a fallen Adam and fallen Eve, a fallen father and mother, has fallen, restoration is needed. The result of man's fall is visible in the children. The children are born in the invaded and corrupted house and grow up under the influence of the evil that fallen angels brought into that house.

What follows in that fallen house is a battle between God and Satan, Satan meaning evil angels and spirits. Note that this is firstly a spiritual battle. God is not visible in physical form. Evil angels and spirits live in spirit world.

In that house of fallen man, God and Satan both try to get more influence. When children are born and grow up, some of them will come more under the influence of Satan, others more under the influence of God, and a remaining category of children will be standing in the middle, very much like Adam and Eve after their fall.

Those children and descendants, bloodlines, which are under influence of God will inherit more internal qualities, such as love for God, good spiritual abilities. Those that are under influence from Satan develop more external qualities, such as intellect and authority. Those that are representing the original but now fallen and mixed bloodline will be quite divided, having both internal and external qualities, but also having good and evil tendencies contradicting and battling in them more extremely.

In the course of restoration, God will attempt to restore the lineage through these three lines developing. In God's eyes, each of these three bloodlines has a special mission. We know them as the missions of Cain to separate from the influence of evil angels and to protect the younger brother, the mission of Abel to represent God and pass on God's love and truth, and the mission of the mixed parental line to unite with Abel and to also help Cain to unite with Abel.

What will be needed for a full restoration of the original bloodline? What is needed is that the three bloodlines come together again, that all the qualities present in these three lines are being united once again, but now centered on God and on goodness.

How can original sin be eradicated? This is the same as asking how the original evil influence of the fallen angel who invaded the good human bloodline can be eradicated. The results of the original sin are in the form of the other categories of sin (ancestral, collective, personal) and also in the form of fallen natures that developed as a result of those sins.

Original sin was and is the making unity in love with and in affection for evil angels. To eradicate original sin, one must overcome the evil influences from the spiritual world.

Original sin is the root of all other sins and also the root of all fallen nature that developed in fallen man. Can it be eradicated without getting rid of the bad results in the form of sins and fallen nature that rooted in original sin? No, this is not possible.

When a person's original sin would be conditionally taken away, for example by a rebirth or adoption into a pure lineage, but the other sins and fallen natures would not be eradicated, then almost immediately fallen angels will be able to bring such a person to sin again, more or less re-creating a renewed form of original sin.

Then, in a next stage, a renewed physical fall could take place. From there on, restoration needs to take place again centered on three bloodlines, with a Cain person or line and an Abel person or line always being central and a third person or line having the task to mediate between Cain and Abel in a God-centered way.

The main positions taken in a family of restoration are those of Cain and Abel, and thirdly, Adam and Eve and the other children like them. The same principle applies for restoration beyond the level of a family, which is restoration of bloodlines that formed clans and tribes.

Cremation or burial of a dead body

Compiled from my contributions to a discussion with friends on the internet

How the body is treated after death can best be understood as an offering.

A cremation is a burnt offering of the body. What is burnt away is what's more worldly or not desired. What is offered is that what is more heavenly. This must be understood in terms of energy or call it 'vitality elements.'

Of course, ideally there is offered to God and a ceremony must be conducted by somebody in the position of priest. In reality, the offering is often brought not to God but to certain deities or ancestors or angels.

If offered to God and accepted by God, the good elements in the body can go to the spirit or also be given to others, either in spirit world or in the physical world. This is done by God.

If offered to other deities, they do or do not take care of this. If offered to deities, the spirit will come under their control in spirit world, at least for a certain time period after death of the body.

To bury the body is similar as cremation from the viewpoint of offering, but because the body isn't burnt, it takes more time before the offering can be completed. As long as there are remains of the body, the offering isn't completed and could be interrupted if the grave is disturbed.

Another possibility is that the grave comes under control of other people or spirits some time after burial. This would have consequences for the situation of the spirit in spirit world.

Other aspects are: the place where the body is buried (sacred or not) or where the ashes are kept or spread (also same question, sacred or not).

To bury a body means to have a place where the person who died can be visited and attended. Of course, this can also be done with an urn with ashes.

For the spirit who ascended there is still another difference: if the body is still there and the person is very much body-centered, the person can visit the body or sometimes stay with the body. If the person in spirit world cannot find the body, this may cause problems to resurrect the spirit.

This is a matter of personal faith and also of personal spiritual development.

I don't see a reason why either form, cremation or burial, should be prohibited. It is a matter of personal belief. But burial can in certain cases help a smoother transition into the spiritual world.

Cremation can be practiced for reasons of hygiene, or connected to belief in reincarnation. Because as long as the body hasn't completely gone, the spirit would not be free from the old body.

Offering of the body

The entire process must be seen as an offering. In case of cremation, the burning of the body is of course an important stage. In the past and still some countries today, such an offering is made outside with the body on a pile of wood.

In the Western world, little is still understood of the necessity to offer the dead body. A crematorium usually is not a very spiritual or religious place. If there is no official priest present at such an occasion, someone who does understand could try to lead the ceremony in a meaningful way.

When a Catholic priest conducts a religious service for the deceased person, it usually means that the spirit is offered to a Catholic spirit world, paradise or purgatory. How to see this? Is this under God's control? That's up to everyone's opinion. There's no big difference between the Roman Catholic spheres in spirit world and those in the Catholic Church on earth.

The influence of the priest on the offering is notable, but if a priest performs the offering inside a church building and through a traditional service or mass, it means he accepted the spirit world that controls that church. There's no other way to go around that than by performing ceremonies on another place.

To choose the priest is an important responsibility. I would not let 'coincidence' or the traditional runs of affairs take care of this.

Good elements that can be distributed: these are what can be called vitality elements that normally pass from the body to the spirit. Only when a person lived a life of sacrifice for others, will it be possible for some of his or her good elements to be given to others. It's something that I have spiritually seen happening.

Evil cultures of the past often sacrificed people in ceremonies, for example young girls. One meaning of this is that the girls in spirit world had to serve the deities. In that way, believers satisfied the desires of the deities and expected to get protection and blessings in return.

Disturbances of grave sites

Many grave sites of Native Americans have been and still are being disturbed to make place for building projects. I have met people who lived in houses built there and who were haunted by spirits that attacked them again and again. I think this problem is still very much present in today's world.

In Western society many graveyards are abolished after a certain period. But often there are still many spirits attached to such a place where their bodies were buried. Where shall they go after they lost their 'homes?' They may feel terrible and make trouble to people on earth.

In what way spirits are connected to their urn or buried body

There are many, many possibilities here. Some spirits are so undeveloped that they cannot recognize their buried body location even they were brought to it. Some spirits end up in a prison situation right after death. For example, in a war where some soldiers are killed and the rest made prisoner of war, usually the deceased soldiers end up in a prison in spirit world controlled by the enemy.

People who die in a prison on earth usually also end up in prisons in spirit world. Many of them may not be able to escape such prisons for hundreds or even thousands of years.

How long spirits visit their buried bodies?

Again, there are many different situations. If the site is still recognized and kept sacred, spirits may go there for a long, long time.

For example, dolmens often were burial sites for the higher class of tribes. Such spirits may be found on such sites even after thousands of years.
